As Founder of New Chapter, 1982-2018

With his wife Barbi, Paul was founder of the iconic supplement company New Chapter, acquired in 2012 by Procter & Gamble. He has consistently anticipated trends before they manifested and introduced revolutionary innovations that have changed the natural products industry paradigm worldwide. Paul is a Master Herbalist trained under the direction of Dr. John Christopher at The School of Natural Healing. Paul formulated and launched several innovations that quickly rose to the number-one selling rank in categories including prenatal vitamins, men’s vitamins, women’s vitamins, herbal formulations, herbal singles, mushrooms, calcium, etc., elevating New Chapter to the leadership number-one brand (according to SPINS/Nielsen) in the natural products industry.

In July 2018, the Schulicks announced that they were moving on from New Chapter to launch a new wellness company raising consciousness around health, mental well-being, and our connection with the global biome: For The Biome. For The Biome applies the wisdom gleaned from over four decades of experience to deliver True Holism via an unprecedented business model and innovative next-generation products, with the higher mission of helping to heal the planet through socially responsible programs that support climate change reversal, sustainable housing, and empowering women through the donation of three percent of revenues from sales ongoing.
